Meet Zoe B: Community Member Highlight

At D.R.E.W. Projects, we like to celebrate youth leaders in the community. Today, we tip our hats off to Zoe B, who took the initiative to host a period product drive at her high school, which collected 30 feminine hygiene kits.
On April 3rd, Zoe emailed our team to find a shelter that needed period products, such as pads, tampons, and panty liners. Her timing couldn't be better. D.R.E.W. Projects planned an upcoming feminine hygiene kit campaign and drop-off to a local nonprofit organization. During our email exchange, we noticed Zoe's passion for supporting women and girls in the community. She demonstrated authentic leadership by organizing, taking the initiative, giving other high schoolers a chance to participate, executing, and coordinating with D.R.E.W. Projects to pick up the collected items. As a result, Zoe empowered her classmates and family to support women and girls experiencing housing instability.
Thank you, Zoe, for taking ACTION to end period poverty. You are an extraordinary youth leader!
