What is the D.R.E.W. Projects Women & Girls Initiative?
The D.R.E.W Projects Women & Girls Initiative educates women and girls on gender equity, women's rights, body image, women empowerment, and much more. Through strategic partnerships, D.R.E.W. Projects collaborate with schools to launch D.R.E.W. Empowerment, a week-long campaign that consists of speakers, workshops, pep rallies, and jamborees.
Why Focus on Women & Girls?
It is important for D.R.E.W. Projects to focus on women and girls because we want to be more than part of the conversation. We want to contribute our efforts in educating individuals about social issues that impact the lives of girls in their community. By taking a community-focused approach, we can raise a generation of girls to become fearless, educated, and confident women.
